What are the SDGs?

SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) is an abbreviation for “Sustainable Development Goals.”
The “International Goals for 2016 to 2030” outlined in the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,” adopted by UN member states at the UN Sustainable Development Summit held at the UN Headquarters in New York in September 2015.
Aiming for all people to enjoy peace and prosperity, it consists of “17 Global Goals” and “169 Targets (achievement criteria),” pledging to leave no one behind on Earth.
